AD IN LOVE: Love the way you...

AD-IN-LOVE is the annual festival of the AD Department during February.

It is a grand event that combined a show case of students’ works from many AD courses, such as Art Direction, Presentation Technique, Creative Advertising Strategy and more.
In addition, the seminars are also rich with knowledge from experienced guest speakers, such as, Khun Siripanvadee Buain, Associate Director and Brand Manager at SCG, Khun Atawit Tragulmalee, Managing Director of TBWA, and Khun Churee Naktipawa, Vice President of CSR Mitrphol.
The theme of the event is “Love the Way You…” with many different sessions. Of course, as many of the topics are about communications and CSR, students are also given a floor to give back to society with AU Gift for the blind in the event.

ADWS Creative Training Camp 2012

This year, the Advertising Department Workshop II’s Creative Training Camp was held at Bonanza Khao Yai. It was a successful, creative team-building event with plenty of stimulating activities for students. Each team was given a ‘task’ to prepare a teaser campaign for the thematic “Gone Wild” night, plus prepare a performance under the same theme. All the teams gave incredible performances of dances, acting, singing, etc. in addition to playing a guessing game together with lecturers. Prizes were given for different categories (students even made trophies themselves).

Overall, it was a successful event that enhanced teamwork and creativity—making students ready for their Workshop II creative execution presentations.

The AD Major Selection First Orientation was a great turn out.

All AD major students attended the session, which provided them with information on different course offerings from the AD Department, the AD Workshop and the type of work they will be doing with ‘clients’ from the real world.
Students were also given advice on
what courses to take or the general things in the AD Department. This orientation provided the first glance into the AD Department, and it was filled with great insights from valuable sources of lecturers and AD alumni.
